K'ai & Vrosi

K'ai & Vrosi
Loincloth , a multi-colored bar patterned woven from cotton yarn. But what makes it special is its production and the story behind it; even be cultural heritage. Black Sea woman for many years at the beginning of the loincloth, skirt; hazelnuts, tea while collecting, rain used in the fertile soil while working. So what did we do? We changed the usage area of the loincloth and adapted it to daily life.Nowadays, we have brought together loincloths with real leather and hand-knitted baskets woven on a forgotten black loom.We designed unique products by combining with 100% hand looms, each of which is unique in the hands of the loincloth, master craftsmen, which we believe you will love with.We called it K’ai & Vrosi. You ask why ? Both words are Laz and both actually mean "GOOD" in the same sense. So this is a dilemma. However, "K’ai" is a word that Artvin, Arhavi region prefers to use; "Vrosi" is the Ardeşen lazlas. This dilemma emerged from words belonging to two different regions. We reflected the diversity of the region to the brand name. In today's conditions, craftsmen who earn almost five times the amount of loincloth wages that they will weave on the loom in three days from one day vineyard-garden works are moving away from traditional weaving as a profession; at the same time, it is difficult to find buyers in the face of unfair competition with machine production. As such, the traditional production of the red, yellow, black striped veil symbolizing the region began to disappear.K'ai & Vroma black woven in looms as a traditional value that we cherish the Black Sea loincloths and we set off on the first in Turkey to support local production. We have reinterpreted this rich culture product fabric in bags, whose usage area is decreasing.Loincloth , which came to life in leather and modern and useful parts, should now be on everyone in the streets of the city. Time to pay this debt to the Black Sea.
